Domestic Affairs
The Dauphin has been blessed with a fourth daughter, Tiphaine.
Barbus Selvo has a candidate for adoption.
Princess Constance and Barbus Selvo have a new daughter, Nicole:
With the completion of a chapel in Metz, we have completed the Pope's request.
A Mustering hall has been completed in Toulouse.
Due to the largesse of the Dauphin a Town Watch has been ordered for Rennes, a Port for Bruges, a small Church in Zaragoza, a Grain Exchange in Marseille and Antwerp, Land Clearance in Dijon and Paris and a Church in Frankfurt.
Foreign Affairs
None besides what has already been reported.
Military Affairs
I transferred a unit of Sergeant Spearmen from my army to Duc Raymond's before besieging Nuremburg. I recruited a replacement at Metz, along with archers for Baron de Saint-Amand. A company of Militia Spearmen were recruited in Frankfurt to reinforce Prince Henri.
Militia were recruited for Marseille and Zaragoza. Cavalry was retrained and archers recruited at Toulouse.
Duc Raymond has besieged Bern.
Prince Louis crushed and then ransomed the Moorish Jihad army near Marseille.
Prince Henri destroyed two German armies east of Frankfurt, yet another Kaiser has fallen.
Valencia and Bordeaux fell to our forces.
Princess Constance and Barbus Selvo have passed through the Strait of Messina and are headed north.
Recommendations
Many of our cities in the south and east are now under threat. I suggest that I take Nuremburg, and Bern if Duc Raymond can do it, and then offer terms to the Germans with Nuremburg, and Staufen if needed, as chits. This will free up our forces in the east to respond to this newest threat.
We also still have the option of asking for a Crusade on the Moors rather than the English. Given what we have taken, we could most likely gain a status quo ante bellum peace with them. I know this would be very unpalatable, but it is another option.
God save the Kingdom.
