    how do i
2- Unzip CoH_betav0.1.rar to get the .exe file.
Click on the .exe and you get installed the new files, a .rmd file and modswitcher. Up to now, you can play normal RTW, as the mod is not completely installed.

when i try to open it, only my acrobat reader will open it.

Which one did you try? The rar file must be unzipped with winrar.
Then CoH_betav0.1.exe is an intaller program. Double click with the mouse and it will open. When this installation is finished, then click on ModSwitcher.exe (step 3).
I've just tried and it works.
If there is some problem, pleas PM me.

Well, I only want to say that there is live after the beta.

We have been working in different aspects of the mod.
Here you can see several new units for the lusitanians (by Viriato):
first an ursus (bear warrior) with mace

    these are devotio

    and here lusitanian bandits

    I've been improving the campaign.
For example the possibility of recruiting local auxillia. The conqueror of a region of different culture, where there was a military building, will be able to recruit local auxillia. These will be weak (and cheap) troops, suitable for garrison or as complement of the conqueror's army. I have used the textures of slave faction and also some of the warspite's (thanks a lot )textures for mercenaries. This is the example of african auxillia, skirmishers and cavalry.

You can see, in the screenshots, all the possible cavalry and missile auxillia available for the lusitanian faction. They include greek and gaul archers, african and italian skirmishers, iberian slingers, greek and african skirmisher cavalry, iberian caetrati cavalry and light gaul and italian cavalry.

At the present, we are in a transition moment, as the mod team is growing and probably some drastic (and positive, of course) changes will be introduced.
Some more iberian factions (up to a total number of 13) will be included for MP and custom battles. Many of the units will be redesign for a better historical accuracy, under the supervision of our new historical researcher, CeltiberoIdibil.
The foreign factions will be probably redesign. Legionario is modelling and skinning new italian and gaul units.
Now there are at least 6-8 historical battles, designed by CeltiberoKarmipoka and macchi. Most of them are battles fought in the Iberian peninsula in the context of the punic wars or the roman conquest of Hispania. These are some screenshots of those historical battles: Baikor, Numantia (2 screens), Vulcanalia, Kesse, and Kastilo.

    Cheers.

In the last days the Iberia TW mod is suffering an interesting (r)evolution.
It has been considered as Major Community Project in twcenter and you can follow the discussion here:
    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/index.php?showforum=92

In any case I will post here the major goals in the development.
All the units will be re-designed in order to make them more historically accurate. Fortunately there are some other skinners working with us.

I am also exploring the possibilities of scripting in both directions, scripts launched by triggers, and background scripts. See some previous developments in this thread: https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showt...879#post778879

    @PLK
Thanks for your offer. There are many people interested in the English translation and we will contact all of you when we have something interesting to translate. (the faction and units descriptions are still lacking).

    Cheers.

You should put out this version now on your own and then put out the new one later. like as a 2.0 version. I cant wait much longer for this mod, im not playing RTW till this comes out cuz an unmodded RTW sucks balls .

Just to say the mod is still alive . We are working in different aspects. One is the symbols and banner and I'm proud to present you

    THE ILERGETIAN SYMBOL

From our documentalists, the best choice for the ilergetian symbol is the wolf. This is one picture provided by CeltiberoKarmipoka.

This picture was the inspiration for one of our best artists, CeltiberoManimor, who made this impressive (IMO) symbol. I hope you like it.

This is the aspect of this symbol in the loading screen.

Now he is working in the standards and banners, that will be ready very soon.
