That's a fair account. Take your time, let the AI factions develop. The game is much more interessting when the other factions are a real challange to you and not just push overs. With the Romans you have some kind of a timetable according to the historical progression. So, unless you are attacked you shouldn't start the next major operation (Spain, Greece or Africa) before the 220s. Keep yourself buisy with the rebell towns in Northern Italy meanwhile. If someone attacks you don't throw everything into a massive counter-attack, but just stick to defending your border, taking a town or two along the border.Originally Posted by Hibernia
