    Default Hav ing trouble modding

    Hello all!
So far Ive just been trying to unlock all the factions, which is really simple. I copy and past the faction names into the appropriate area, I go to save, and it tells me
"Can not create the c:/programs/medieval blahblahblah file make sure the path and file name are correct"

    Im pretty sure they are
    Im playing the vanilla version
I dont have any of the patches, as I cant seem to find them anywhere to DL
And Im playing with Windows Vista

Any help would be HUGELY appreciated!!!!!

I just save it to my documents, make a backup (it's already there), edit the file, and move it manually back into the campaign folder, replacing the original.

...then again, my computer is stupid, and wont properly change the files from read only to being changable.

    I hate acer...
