How do I insert a picture

High all

Bit of a noob question this but I've tried inserting an image into my post using the button at the top of the screen and pasting the link address but nothing happens. Could someone tell me where I'm going wrong.

I had the same problem but did not do what you did, if it is a screenshot, it could even be a picture, but if a screenshot, dwnload fraps and use that to take the screenshot. (this is only for screenshots) If you have the picture saved somewhere you will follow the same process i say next, then either log on to your photobucket or create and acoount, browse for your photo, upload it, then get the link text. i think its the second box down of the four boxes, then copy the text, put it into the post, putting [img] before it and [/img] after it, if it doesnt work, log onto the java chat, because there is somebody on there who told me what to do, im sure he can help you mate...

I kind of Misunderstood my own meaning there, let me say it again
For Screenshots you dont have and are going to shoot
Download fraps, take the screenshots
Either make an account on photobucket, or log on to your exsisting account
Upload the picture or screenshot
the second email thing down out of four should say somthing with a title like link or something like that
Copy the text inside it and paste it onto your post here at the org
put [img] infront of it and [/img] after it, then preview our post and see if it has worked.

This is what i have written down to help me remember:
Images from fraps:

Uploading onto Photobucket:
C Drive
Fraps
There should be selected screenshots of what you have screenshotted
To host on the org put a [img] infront and an [/img] behind

When using an image uploader site like photobucket you only need to click on the image link, by just clicking it copies the link and you need to paste that link in a post. That SHOULD do it. Do not click/copy the click the image link, just clicking/copying and posting straight onto a post should do it.
