    Default Allowing EB to run faster

    Over at TWC, I read a post detailing that EB is very slow due to large amounts of scripting (dur) and this could be partially remedied by removing the script that checks EVERY SETTLEMENT to see if it is a type 4 government upon ending your turn. This is what causes the end turns to be so tediously slow. My question is how do I go about doing this. I love EB but the fact that it runs at a snails pace on the campaign map always discourages me from enjoying this mod.

    While I have not seen the topic mentioned above, I would like to second the sentiments above. I love the game... but if it takes me minutes to load everything, it isn't fun.

    Check out this thread.

    It's not exactly what causes the end turns to be slow, but it's part of it. I believe 40% or so of the slowness is due to the client rulers.
