    Default Yahoo Mail oddity

    I have a weird problem these days with Yahoo Mail. Since they automatically switched me to the new thing, I sometimes have unread mail inbox warning, but every message in my Inbox is read.

    Anyone else experiencing?

    Have the same problem with the old version really.
    It is caused by you opening a new email from the yahoo mainpage via the automatic dropdown.

    I managed to fix it with success by going to my overview (or any other folder) and clicking "Check Mail".

    Yeah, I have a Yahoo account to sign up for some things, and I find it generally poorly put together. I've also noticed frequent delays in the delivery of emails from certain foreign services. Sometimes by 2-3 days. If it were anything but an extra account I would've discarded it already.

    Yeah, it happens a lot even on the old one with me. I'd say about once a week, at least? A small price to pay for the comfort of the familiar though.
