    Default my family just disappeared

    Hi There,

I'm about 50 years into a campaign, playing as England. I keep adopting people and marrying off daughters, but when I just checked my family tree it was empty except for the original faction leader and his wife.

And so, although the game seems to be functioning and family members are coming and going, I have no record of them in the family tree screen. Any ideas?

Many thanks in advance for replies.

Afaik that's a known bug that occurs if a princess in married to a general that becomes the faction's leader. It's been fixed for Kingdoms only, not for M2TW.

Not sure if there's a workaround, but I remember seeing something about it in the Citadel.

    Hi FactionHeir,

Many thanks indeed. Yes, that would explain it. I had a princess who married the French faction heir. And now, when I check my family tree, I see that the only members are the old dead French King and his wife.

I've never encountered this bug before and don't know what to do about it. I normally like to marry my princesses to faction heirs, in order to keep the peace for a while.

Anyway, at least there's an explanation! Again, many thanks.
