Hi There,
How do you implement chain routs? Do you just lower morale via stat_mental in the EDU?
Thanks in advance for replies!

Bit rusty on RTW & M2TW modding, but I believe that is all you do. But with chain routs is that unless all the other units have a low morale as well, only one or two units will rout while the others stay put... A trick is to hit the lowest morale targets first and hardest and work your way up the elite-ness chain, going from say peasants to peasant archers, then to militia spearmen... etc. But I suppose you already knew that.
Oh, right... this is a modding question... =D

Hi Raz,
Thanks for this.
I lowered the values in EDU/stat_health and achieved some success. But I still can't get a chain rout going and am not sure if it's possible. I guess I'll tinker around a bit more and see what happens.
I suppose my aim is to get non-elite units to rout if they get hit hard and to take other units with them. I suppose one potential problem is if the AI fields armies full of elite units . . .
I'm trying to get a situation where I have a small army with high morale, which can successfully make a stand against bigger AI armies.
mental's second value determines the response to shocks. Change it to low and they should rout faster if others are routing.
