    Default Celtic Levy Spearmen

    I'm playing an Arverni campaign. I was happy to reach the Time of Soldiers. The only downside being that I discovered that my cheap garrison unit -- Celtic Levy Spearmen -- was no longer recruitable.

    Was this intended?

    Is there some cheap alternative unit that someone could suggest?

    I have Gaul, Germany and Italy so far.

    Along the same line...

    MAA, what happend to the Teceitos (Celtic Axemen) why can't I recruit them after the Time of Soldiers???? (note I don't have 1.1 yet)

    You can also just use Iaosatae instead. Two of them costs only slightly more than one bunch of Lugoae, and weren't slingers something of a key element in the defense of the oppidias anyway ?

    You got "Time of Soldiers?"

    How did you get the second reform? In my game, it's like 245 bc, I own all of Gaul and half of Germany. Is there a specific year or am I supposed to build a bunch of temples. Sorry for asking here but I kinda need help on this matter.
