So he holds dual-citizenship. Who cares? All that matters is how good a reviewer he is. And I think he's one of the best, up there with Armake21. Whereas Armake21 actually plays the game while he's reviewing, Yahtzee gives his review with hilarious imagery. It definitely keeps your attention, which is what some other reviewers fail to do.

Problem is, I'm looking for substantive information when I read reviews. I don't read them for entertainment, any more than a person researches cars before he makes a purchase for entertainment. He is quite effective at pointing out glaring flaws in games, but the detail is not really there to make a completely informed purchase decision.

When I don't treat it like a legitimate review, well, it is pretty funny, which is why I continue to watch some of them.

From a technical standpoint, his reviews are nit-picky and wildly inconsistent in their criticism. From an entertainment standpoint- they're hilarious. I enjoy watching them for the humor regardless of whether or not I agree with his statements. Obviously though, it's sometimes funnier when he points out flaws that I too have noticed in games.

You might want to try Armake21's Games That Suck and Context Sensitive reviews. You get to see him playing the game as he's reviewing, so you'll be able to see the review from the view of a gamer rather than a reviewer. One thing that surprised me is that he liked Vampire Rain, whereas everyone else on the planet blasted it as a bad game. After watching his review, I bought the game and liked it too. It's not great, but it's certainly not a bad game.
