Thread: Change to my battlescreen

    Default Change to my battlescreen

I'm not really sure if this is the place to post this, but when I reinstalled EB1.1 after a persistant CTD problem I noticed something had changed with how the battlescreen was set up.

Gone was the usual battlescreen that I had played with R:TW and every other EB version I had played, and in was an unfamiliar set up. The unit cards were right at the bottom of the screen, and all the actions were hiding off screen at the top.

I have tried to search on here for some explanation of how to change it back to the original battlescreen, but I can't see anything.

Can someone please tell me how I can change it back to the original battlescreen set up? Cheers.

Go to your Start Menu -> All Programs -> Europa Barbarorum -> Preferences and untick the Minimal UI checkbox.

I used to not like the Minimal UI either, until I learned you could get rid of the Unit Cards and the Radar using F5 and F7, which meant an entire screen's worth of space for battling, rather than just seventy percent.

As well as hitting F6 twice to remove the annoying pop up action-buttons on the top -- meaning you've got about 100% of slaughter on screen.

Cheers Korlon!! I just couldn't get my head around that battlescreen. The other one isn't perfect, but better the devil you know eh?
