    Default recruiting knights

    Hi There,

Apologies for what is probably a very basic question, but I need some help.

I want to change recruitment time for knights, so that it takes 2 years to raise a new unit. But I'm puzzled by the numbers/values in the EDB file. Could someone tell me which number/value to edit and what to change it to, in order to get a two-year recruitment time?

Also, I'd like to reduce the unit pool for English knights and elite longbowmen, but again, I don't know which values to amend. Basically, I'd like to have the English knights pool to be half that of France, so that England produces half as many knights as France.

Again, apologies for a noobie question, but any advice and help is much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance for replies.

Its in the RTW files (descr_unit). I don't have them anymore though but my guess would be stat_cost's first value

The first number after stat_cost in the export_descr_units entries is the recruit time.

    stat_cost 1, 730, 250, 120, 95, 730, 4, 180
