    Default how to add units

    I know I know, there is a guide to how to do it i the modding guides. But EB seems to work differently. I was testing some new units I added (not enouggh to reach the limit(7) and It wont work. my game CTD's while loading the menu screen (it doesn't even tell me why, even with error reporting on). Is there anything I missing?(plz leave detailed instruction on how the team adds a unit in EB)

    I did change DMB, and the EDU. I also did so for the desc building, and the sprites of course, all according to the guide, and to the letter.

    then what do I use? (it works fine with other mods-also the proposed units are in normal script..

    Notepad++ is great.

    As was described earlier on this forum notepad saves all files in format of first opened file and this can be bad depending on what file was opened first and what file is saved now.

    If you want to do any editing decent text editor is a must.

    Other then that I can only recommend old method of baby steps.
    Add one unit, test it in the game. If it works move to next unit.

    If something goes wrong you will have smaller haystack in which you will have to look for errors.
