I think they are only available in custom battles, not in the campaign.

In vanilla, you can add an armor upgrade and weapon upgrade to them though.

You can do the same to late bodyguards in custom battles or if you mod them into your game.

no, but it's the best you can do in vanilla.You can do the same to late bodyguards in custom battles or if you mod them into your game.
