Play EB from external hard drive?

Thanks again guys for the awesome mod. I have just downloaded the new version.

To save disk space, is it possible for me to move my EB installation off of my C drive and onto my external hard drive, and play the game purely from there?
I tried to do this a moment ago but ran into problems.

My EB is on an external hard drive and I never encountered any problems.

Does it affect performance? I have mine on a secondary hard drive (still internal), but with an external one, because it has to run through a usb cable, would that slow it down any significant amount?

unlikely, 2.0 is reasonably fast. Providing you have enough RAM, it should not be a problem at all =/

Ah yes i have solved it i think, just testing now . I forgot to give vista its administration priviledges, and it was giving me acess to denied messages.
