Specifically, I am trying to decrease the reloading time for longbowmen and increase the loading time for firearms. Is this possible or are reloading times tied in with animations or hardcoded.
Btw, I removed the fire_by_rank attribute from firearm units and they behave much better in that they do what I tell them too without moving around or wasting time switching ranks with remarkable sloth. The first rank now fires first then kneels and reloads while the second rank fires, kneels, reloads and so on, it is much more efficient. The only problem is that they are somehow capable of reloading almost as fast as longbowmen--a ludicrous concept.
Has anyone else tried removing fire_by_rank?
