Support aggressor?
I'm playing as Poland on VH allied with HRE (perfect) and Milan (good). HRE attacks Milan and I must choose between them. I want to keep relations with neighboring HRE good until I'm done in the East. Will supporting the Aggressor (HRE) damage my diplomatic reputation?

If you have to choose between allies, you will not lose reputation. You may lose some relations with the side you did not choose though.

Didn't happen when I played unmodded and wasn't a party in the war.

Always support The Papal States if you are a christian, your closest ally or the attacker. The reason is that if two countries go to war, the aggressor thinks he can win, and with your help is probably right.
