Bravo! that you've joined the workforce, and come to realize the value of work, and the relative value of money.

Oh, and like the other fellas said: "You'll get used to it." And more. You'll be amazed at your own ability to work even longer, harder hours, when necessary. Farmers and small business owners typically put in 16 hours per day, 7 days a week.
    hmmm maybe :P

my boss prolly makes those hours yes...

thanks all :P this convinced me to work 7 days a week... i dont know wether i should love or hate u guys

Be happy that you're not doing nightshifts.

Working in the summer vacation really sucks...I'm glad that it's raining constantly over here, serves those non-working slackers right.

Bring with you all a walkman with radio so, if you can hear music from a local station (that you like) and you will pass it a little better. Do something to distract ya. That works with me and my school. When I'm bored and have nothing to do, I write. Everyone is talking, and I'm writing, and I pass my free time in that way (in school).
In this country there aren't part time jobs for teenagers, which is a shame because I want to do something someday.

Thats not a bad schedule. When I had my first "job" I was only working 8 hours a day maybe three or four hours a week. Which isn't bad for being sixteen in a college town, but then the next year I moved down to Colorado with my dad, and that summer my dad hired me on.. I was working 12+ hours a day five days a week doing frame work for Condo's and Apartments and such, I couldn't understand how some people had been doing that type of job for 20 years or more. The money was good, but even if you were in great shape, by the end of the week you were goin' to be tired.

Lol, my last job was 12 hours a day 7 days a week with 1 out of 3 nights on call and being expected to respond even if I wasn't on call.

Nowadays I do my 37 hours a week and no more, I don't do overtime and I definately don't work for nothing. The only reason I work is to buy good stuff whether it's paying the mortgage or buying a new fish tank and as I was promoted in December I can afford most of the things I want.

and I'm sure you had to walk five miles uphill both ways, always in the middle of a January Blizzard, even in July. And You can't understand why people complain!

    I only joke of course.

Lol, no, it was on a cruise ship and I only had to go up 1 deck to get to work and up another 5 to get to the bar, which was 60p for a pint of vodka and coke. There were plus points and I really enjoyed the job, long hours but decent money, comfortable cabin and good perks
