When will the emergency session end and when the supposed one turn will be passed on? For example Oojebus has been very little online lately and if Komnenodoukai have to start a war, just in case that he wont be online to sign peace and will be then happily butchered by the order completely within the rules, im not sure what to say about it.

What will happen to those people who don't show up during the next turn? Will they be forced to be part of the war although they have no idea about it or will they be considered neutral?
I think they should be considered neutral..

Jebus is in one of the hotseats I'm in, so hopefully he'll be on soonish. For my part I wouldn't attack an avatar whose player is not present under any circumstances, and I would vote to extend him however much time he needs to declare his neutrality, if he wishes, even if the game goes forward.

The emergency session ends in about 30 minutes, though I won't be around to open the voting poll for about an hour after that. As normal, there will be 48 hours for voting, then the game will resume. All people involved in the Civil War except for the Caesar and Makedonios will have until the end of the next turn to declare neutrality.

So, that's probably going to be something like late Thursday or early Friday.

I'm sure there'll be a right and proper one at some point, but this one would be a poor excuse for civil war: Almost no one wants to fight it, and the would be belligerents are far apart.

I know we have wonderful rules for civil war, but I hope Aleksios's role as Imperial Wet Blanket will hold out for a few more years.

Since I've been asked about this turn, I'll announce it in here.

When voting ends, consider the save "taken back" by me. I will do my moves for 1129 Wednesday night after voting. I'll then release the new save and people can do their free moves.

As always, if anyone has any moves they would like to make for 1129, feel free to PM me IC and/or OOC and I will make the moves for you.

I figure we've already had 24 hours of free move for 1129 and I'd like to get the game moving again.

Since you brought it up in the Magnaura and I don't want to clutter it with OOC. I hope you give this enough OOC time. We have until the votes end at least. After that everyone should have been online and able to sign. If somebody doesn't sign and hasn't been online since before the sign got put up I'll happily ignore them IC.

For people who are obviously MIA, I hope we can just disregard them entirely. BananaBob will probably never come back and will in all likelihood get "wogged" for inactivity at the end of the next session.

As for people who aren't on every single day, I say we just deal with it IC. Technically, the war would still be on but we can all pressure each other IC to act as if there is no war. Meaning, no hostile army moves, refill private armies, build things in settlements, ect...

So, if someone will be gone for weeks or forever, I say we deal with it OOC.

If someone will simply be a day or two late in signing it, I say we just deal with it IC.

That's how I see it anyways.

It would be very unpopular politically IC for people to pursue a war that most of the people have already agreed to end. But it seems like something that should be done IC unless some of the people who have to sign are completely absent from the game.

Barring one of the people expressing an active desire to pursue the war and refusing to sign the peace treaty, I think it's fine if some AWOL participants do not sign. Both the declarer and the target have signed, which is the important part. Everyone else was dragged in by proxy, so taking them out by proxy is fine with me as long as they do not protest it. If any of the AWOL people are dead-set on it, they can simply declare war themselves anyway.
