I really do need to have some form of record keeping for generals. Towards the end of a battle, I'm always wondering "Does this general have the scant/no mercy vice yet?" Stuff like that is hard to remember when expanding on multiple fronts.

Here it is in action, as it were.

    I've added Faction.

He he... I kind'a likes this, though perhaps the "one entry per year" idea is a bit too much. But a sheet for the top line generals in order to keep track of things such as when they've married the princess, when they performed poorly in battle and all. Very nice.

Reminds me, just a little, of the D&D sheets I did in my youth...

Indeed. I've never played D&D. I have played NeverwinterNights and a clunky Morrowind. This sheet is inspired by various ones I found on the Net.

In this particular case, Abur Wahid has been artificially bumped up by emptying Algeria, sparking a rebellion to "level him up".

If I had left it to chance, the changes would not have been over consecutive years. It's only necessary to put in years any change in Loyalty, etc. occurs. That may be 5, 10 or more years but the unit has a limited lifespan and must be disbanded when it dies.

Here I've played the same 'trick" to level up Abur Wahid once more.He himself has gained the virtue of "numeracy".

Neat idea, Tony. They are ineed somewhat "D&D-esque".

    Thanks, Martok!

It's actually best to use the sheet with the old pencil/pen and paper while playing, rather than the cumbersome method with the keyboard.

I'm sure the basic idea can be refined.

    All the best.

Good sheet. I'll definitely use it.

I would find it extremely hard to monitor stats from year to year, though, unless I was turtling.

I think I'll refine mine to 5-year snapshots.

    Thanks dude!

I do play Green Generals, but I still can't bring myself to disband general's units under any circumstances, though... :-(
