I contacted him after this post:
As you can see, he didn't make a connection between drunken and lost. It was only after I PM'ed him that he put lost into this:Originally Posted by CR

Dang... I thought CR had just claimed to be a pirate before the big reveal... well that knocks my CR is a monk theory out of the water.
But, the chances of the monk targetting FH, a fairly inactive player, is practically nil. So I still think there is a leak somewhere...
Edit: ED contacted me on the 30th of September

Sorry guys, I am a little behind on post reading so I am going to Vote:Abstain.
Total Mafia Games played ~ 30
Total Mafia Awards = 1
Woah, that will teach me to not read the last few posts on the last page.
I am most definataly a pirate.
I kept my posts in this thread very neutral on purpose - the reason being..
I thought that as a pirate I was mafia. I saw Shlin behaving in a drunken way and took a punt that he was a pitate as well. This was due to my initial pm saying all you can do now is vote in the daytime. Thus I thought that we needed to gather our group so that we could then begin to kill. Not realising that I was town. Thus I wanted to remain annonomus as Shlin was making himself a target.
Then Shlin told me that there were other pirates and I was confused. I still thought that we were mafia and even in one of my posts here stated that "Shlin must be the drunken master kung fu guru" so that people hunting pirates may have another idea as to what he was.
Yes I got the pm from Shlin telling me that FH would lead us if he was killed.
However did I EVER ask who else was pirate? If I was mafia would I not want to know?
Actually that does not make sence as the monks would know who is who would they not?
If they do then why kill off FH as well?
I MAY have been a lucky hit form the monks?

Does it matter? He is a dead pirate.
He role played a drunk and I guess either I or FactionHeir contacted him first asking him about it.
Based on the responses I got, the reluctance and the distrust, I would say he is a confirmed pirate.
I think you should have another look at CR ... He is avoiding my hidden accusation.![]()

Ah .. What am I thinking.
Well from what I can see CR seems to be like a fairly good lynch option. But then again I haven't been concentrating in this game that well because I was hosting my own![]()
But I suppose if you are a monk wouldn't you know that pirates are the real townies? In that case wouldn't you give hints about you being drunk and all?
Also if the kung fu skills are out of 10 then what is the lowest kung fu score that player got? If us pirates are on 7-8 range would the Shaolins be on 9-10? Then what is 1-6 range for? There is no third group right??

Because of shlin's post. It seems convincing to me.

Damn, I missed the vote. Sorry about that. FoS: CR. He seemed more suspicious to me than El D.

Missing the vote is quite convenient at this point in the game - it helps you to avoid making enemies and it means you can fly under the radar. He then FoS'ed someone who had already been marked as suspicious (Nothing wrong with that), but he provided no real justification for that.

I see shlin's point here, as re-brought up by CountArach, as potential evidence of some form of guilt. I would like to here a response before deciding he is definitely a monk though.

ED was lynched last time...
Lot's of time travelling in this game it seems![]()
Is that a mistake by Sasaki there? Perhaps one of us is dead already but does not know it because Sasaki wrote "Sigurd" accidentally...

And if you are suspecting me at this point, yes, I urge you to challenge me. My kung fu score is 6- a little weak for a mafia- but if my words don't convince you, challenge me, beat me, and there'll still probably be 2 kills next night.
EDIT: I won't challenge someone myself because I can't know if I'd win or not, and if I did win, it'd defeat the purpose of the investigation. You'll know that you will beat me if your score is 7 or higher, obviously.

Hmmm so when there were only 1 kill a night, who has always been involved in challenges and lost? Losers can't have night actions afterall.

I don't think that is what happened, personally. Rather than just happening to lose 3 or 4 challenges in a row, I think that Sasaki only allowed the mafia to kill two people after we figured out that the pirates were town.

I'll be back later today for more discussion. But assuming I'm not lynched, who should I challenge, and, likely, beat?
