Unless (as Sasaki pointed out) everything that could be said already *has* been said elsewhere. We cannot presume to know everything -- or indeed, anything at all -- about what happened.

The fact that Tosa hasn't posted a response yet is telling. If he's not discussing it publicly, chances are high there's a very good reason for it.

Personally I hope this is all worked out and resolved soon.

I happen to think that the SW mod is probably the best MTW mod there is and for the sake of the mod, the .org and it's members this issue should be resolved in such a way that there is no ill will.

In the meantime some people would do well to swallow their immature comments instead of posting them here.

If he chooses to comment at all on the subject, it'd likely be to barocca alone....and he'd almost certainly do it in private, not here in front of everyone.

Locking the thread (by Tosa, who is the only mod here), might be misconstrued as censorship. It's really a lose-lose for him in this situation.

Honestly, I think the first post should have been made with a little more decorum. One reason Tosa might be avoiding the thread is that he is portrayed as 'the enemy' by some or most of the posters in this thread.

If an Admin acts out of character and uses inflammatory language on the site, it is a sure sign that his days on the staff are over.

If other Admins refuse to address the matter, it is a sure sign that they have not worked out the consequences. Such inaction is bound to affect the entire forum and undo years of good work by long-standing members.

It would be helpful if Ser Clegane, who appears not to be a party to this issue, would inform us in general terms of what we should expect.

If that doesn't happen, I propose that we politely ask KukriKhan and Banquo's Ghost to act as our delegates and clear things up for us, ordinary members.

I mean Kekvit is right, when you start a thread that is so absolutely biased to your own viewpoint and accusing of someone else then you can either get a flame war or a thread like this one. I almost hope Tosa will never respond to this. And neither should Ser Clegane if he cannot avoid taking sides. That way an internal issue can be solved internally.

I understand if they have Private Talk,which is a good way to settle it, but this problem went on for months as I am told, and Tosa is not making a post here (nor is Ser Clegane). I think this thread should be locked, but Let Tosa have the last post to explain his side, then lock it to prevent any more flaming or taking sides.

Barocca was a respected Admin of this forum. He was Ser Clegane's predecessor. I hope that his upcoming surgery will be successful and that he will completely recover.

I think we all want to know if this fall-out will have consequences for the continuity of the .Org. There is no shame or dishonor in that, particularly since many of us have invested heavily in this forum, maybe less than Tosa, Barocca or Ser Clegane, but certainly more than myself, which is enough to feel concerned.

there is my main staff account which has been BROKEN since February,
and which I have been asking Tosa to FIX since FEBRUARY,

there is my worksite account that was put in place with TOSA's FORE-KNOWLEDGE & PERMISSION in May of 2007 to protect the org's admin passwords due to my worksite's keylogging and traffic capture policy.

there has been one previous instance where i had a worksite account, that was created many years ago just after TeraGate, and again that was with TOSA's FORE-KNOWLEDGE & PERMISSION

the worksite account made no posts that would even gain a zero point warning under the org's forum rules.


At The Org in July 2008 -
the Samurai mod desync was fixed, the mongols re-activated, input was requested, the thread went silent,
the Samurai Forum went silent,

from my worksite account i posted "seems some people dont want the mongols"
which was my opinion at that time, but is now a Known Fact;

i further posted "at least they are not filling the thread with static",

static = useless chatter/clutter/noise

at least "they" were not wasting my time, by filling the thread with useless posts, whinging and complaining,
instead "they" left the thread clean and clear.

Tosa and Clan Mizu/Takiyama would have you believe that for saying "thank you for not wasting my time" from my worksite account (known by/to Tosa) i am now being punished,

ABSOLUTE ROT - i am being punished for an opinion I voiced on a different website altogether - not for breaking Org's rules.
in order To convict me they had to invent a new crime.



This issue has been handled disgracefully by the Overseers here,
