Yeah but if you do that in the U.S., you must be:

1) European
2) Gay
3) Elitist/Pretentious.


If you do the same thing with beer or whiskey though, you're a good solid American.

That's fine, I'm definitely Elitist/Pretentious. I also hold UK citizenship, so I guess I qualify on 2 out of the 3.
