only in America would you get any marks, let alone 1/4 of the total score, for doing something as simple as that...

If they still do it like they did in my day, wrong answers count negative. If you fill in your name and do nothing else, you get 200. If you fill in your name and then get every answer wrong, you get a zero.

Pretty sure that's how it worked.
