Still have to develope a taste for whisky, so far I like Dimple best, like it better then most single malts.

Try one of the Islays (starting with regular ones then perhaps cask strength) - most people I know were surprised how different they are from the regular blended Scotch brands or the "popular" single malts (e.g. Glenfiddich) and started to love the very strong and peaty taste.

Even Mrs Clegane likes the taste of it and takes a sip from time to time (she would not have more than a sip as she actually does not drink liquor at all)

A while ago, I discovered this gem called Mandarine Napoléon.

It's a very sweet liqueur and both my wife and I absolutely love it

Peppermint Schnapps. Tastes almost as good coming up as it does going down! Leaves your breath minty fresh!

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Vodka is pretty much the only hard liquor I'll drink these days. Never could get used to Scotch/Bourbon/Whiskey, too many bad experiences with Rum in college. Tequila is OK, in small doses, Gin is hideous. The schnapps and various other types of liquors like Baileys, Goldschlager, Jager, et al. are drinkable, but can't be considered utilitarian enough for regular consumption.

jack daniels, where saving penny's came out good. Instead of having a whole new barrel made to age the whiskey/bourbon, they burn the insides of the barrels to sanatize them, this in turn gives it its unique flavor and appearance

Moonshine in the more tradition reference of the word was made of Methanol (as opposed to Ethanol) and is toxic; possibly making you blind and/or killing you. Now thats when you know you are a true heavyweight.
