what happened?

it seems to me that the forums were down from about 8:00 last night to noon today.
an explanation?

my org addiction suffered...

I suspect Octosquid subterfuge.

Though even that is a relief, for a while there I was struck by the horrible prospect that my workplace might have started blocking the Org.

The Org main site was actually up, but the forums and wiki were down. I know how you feel though, I actually had to do some work this morning...

Thats because Ted Stevens is in jail and the other gods were busy on Bit-Torrent sites.

I ended up not doing work yesterday.. Who can do work when you have to check if the Org is back up every 20 min?

Threads like these should be in the Watchtower.

At this point, it looks like a simple error in retrieving some lines of code (I think). It has been fixed, as the .Org is back and I guess we wait on Tosa to say something.

Keep an eye on the watchtower, he normally posts there.
