There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

Great game! A pity the officiating was so crappy, though.

Congrats to the Steelers and their fans! $225 should ease the hangover a bit.

Thanks for whispering, my brother. Yeah. I had to go to espn.com and get a qurterly recap, to make sure I hadn't made up the wins. Didn't get the 1st qtr or final; did get half time(7-7) & 3rd qtr (0-7).

Good thing I ate finger food at half-time (meatballs & popcorn chicken). Sorry for the typo's yesterday.

Best Superbowl actual game in years! So glad it wasn't a rout, like in the 90's. Each side actually had a decent chance. Cool.

I've never seen so many holding calls in a single game. It was crazy, and it was the only thing that was actually bad about it. Both teams played a great game, and what a finish!

Yeah, isn't it amazing how well one's hearing improves when hungover? Typo's??? I thought you were texting in leet-speak.

I don't like the officials to determine the outcome & pace of a game with so many penalties. The Superbowl is slow enough as it is *4+ hours of commercials with a little football thrown in* without the momentum being constantly interrupted by penalty too. I expected a rout and am glad I was wrong.

I've got a prediction to top that. Next year the EFL will play the NFL and the EFL will win in a dramatic blow-out, at least a twenty point spread.

EFL=European Football League. I'm not sure if it even still exists...

Lmao it went under about a year ago I believe haha... though I always thought they shouldn've done some kind of inter-league match. We could at least play some one from the Canadian league

The problem with playing Canadaland is they have a lot of small differences in their rules which give Canadian Football a very different feel. At least from what I've heard. I could be wrong but Canadian football players may be able to shift formation basically at all times and however they want, while there are a bunch of restrictions on American football aren't there?

Lots of differences. The CFL field is larger, they only get 3 downs, have 12 men on the field at a time, and a bunch of other rule changes.
