I got a speeding ticket a while back for going 92 in a 70 on the road from Ft.Worth to Lubbock (also known as the moon) I payed the ticket and proceeded to do and send in my DD. Flash to yesterday. I get pulled over for speeding (trend?) The cop runs my license and says there is a warrant for my arrest. To which I reply Bull****. I get taken in screaming to high hell that Im squared away and etc. etc. So the cop does a favor and calls the county, turns out a clerical error was responsible for this whole mess (The judges secretary failed to file it properly causing another secretary to send out the warrant when the computer said I was unpaid)
I got really lucky to. I have a beautiful face.
Moral: Call and make sure your squared away.

Had a friend who was pulled over. Said he had a warrant, went to jail…a weekend too…hundreds of miles from home, in another state…
Monday comes around and guess what. There was a warrant. But a different SSN!

Once a woman cop came to my dorm and talked about, among other things, how ten some years ago a bunch of cops and state troopers almost shot their way out of the middle of a student riot against dry campus rules, because they were surrounded and students were rambunctious. Of course, getting a black eye fighting with students is simply not acceptable when you can shoot them.
Anyways, way to go Strike! Are radar detectors legal in Texas?

If you drive naked and cover your rims with tin foil radar can't detect you. This only applies to cars, not motorcycles.
I spent about 15 minutes in county once when I was 17, it was terrifying, particularly when they marched me in with my blanket and a big Indian fella, in not so many words, explained that I had a mouth that would fit not one but two special items simeltaniously. The parents really came through on that day.

The fuzzbuster-buster, of course. Picks up leakage from the radar detector's oscillator. Not much use these days, but they will still confiscate if they find one plugged in when they pull you over. Unconstitutional, if you ask me, if they are going to irradiate me I have the right to know about it.

This form of "electronic warfare" cuts both ways and since detector-detectors use a similar superheterodyne receiver, many early "stealth" radar detectors are equipped with a radar-detector-detector-detector circuit
What the cops need now is a radar-detector-detector-detector-detector circuit!
