That was exactly my point - leave all networks you are logged in when going offline - quite easy actually to do so and to log on again when you want to play again. PROVIDED that the network is not already fully occupied by a host of off-line egoists in the meantime. That is why I am appealing to the community so that leaving networks will become an universal rule.

Unfortunately we cannot. Let me give an example: you have 10 different networks (from EB00 to EB09) each capable to accomodate 16 people, right? Now you have just 16 guys who are logged on to each and every of those networks. The result: nobody else, except those ones, is able to play no matter how many networks there are.

What to do about it? Let us say, for the sake of arguent, that nobody can be member of more than one of these 10 networks. Now you can have 160 people playing and stay logged on permanently, which is great. But again, each of them will have only 15 other people to choose from for an occasional game. You can have a situation that at any given moment there would be just one person online on each of these networks so that nobody will be able to play at all, despite the fact that there are actually 10 people online at the same time.

Therefore the only real solution is to leave network when going offline to make room for others. This way one or two networks will be quite sufficient for everybody. Face it, frankly, have you ever seen a moment when there was more than 16 people online (that a single Hamachi network could support - IIRC) at the same time???
