...And so, on that day, the 19th of March, 2009, began the greatest bandwagon ever on a single player. It all began when the one known as MakaiGreaterSeireiAssistantModeratorKhaan calmly and rationally laid out the most devastating case ever. With one reasonless vote, the link was forged. And the chain continued to grow and grow, and all the highlanders came down from the north in droves of hundreds, and thousands, and formed a bandwagon of rebels greater and more fearsome than any bandwagon ever before imagined.

The charge was led by the mighty Khaan, who charged towards the indestructible Sasaki with the fierce determination of a hundred thousand bloodthirsty men. There was nothing the rest of the town could do except surrender their logical minds to the overwhelming power of the determination to destroy Sasaki Kojiro. The men fought in the streets, in the hills, in the mountains... but Sasaki could not hold off the entire horde of peasants forever... and soon, he was felled by a thousand sword swings. The world itself seemed to stand united as one mind, one body, one force, and it rose up and struck down the mighty Sasaki. In the frozen wastes of Nador, the men involved were forced to eat Sir Robin's minstrels; and there was much rejoicing.

The legend was told for many, many generations, and has become part of the folklore of Ireland. That is, until the people found something better on television and completely forgot all about it.

The second day had drawn to a close. A few people still had red eyes because of the death of Padraic last night. They fervently wished that no more killing would take place tonight. But they knew it would. 6 came, how many were left?

Eventually, the voting came to a draw. 6 people had voted for taka, 6 for reenk roink.

pevergreen was left with the choice of what to do.

"In light of my good friend Beefy's death yesterday, due to you lot, I'm going to spare both of these two. They should be thankful that I'm still sad. Next time it may not be so pretty."

Ok, perhaps not scum, but a person who has been eliminating townies left and right. Which is bad for town.

The same reason I was called bad for town, because I was considering Beefy's lynch as it would satisfy a sub-mission for the masons. At best, you've been a vigilante, and not a very careful one. But to be honest I can't really criticize because I am not completely in the know regarding your role in that game. I am just posting my opinion about whether or not the town needed to keep you around there.

As it's another game and you're dead there, it's a moot point, back to topic!

As for the rest; Ok... just make sure you contribute more when you get back. And keep in mind, if we run out of suspects... you should be lynched for inactivity/possible ruse/excuse for not being here.

In the meantime, the tied vote spares us a lost player. I think this calls for a round of ales for everyone. It might be 533AM where I am, but in Ireland, it's always time to drink!

Thank you for the compliment Seamus, but I fear my last mafia games were around two years ago, so it's really taking me some time to get back into the action. Also the first rounds always consist of verbal sparring that can only reveal so much with plenty of WIFOM going around that I never felt like contributing a lot in those phases there are others like Sasaki or, as I have noticed by now, ATPG that go around and do the talking.

I'm glad it's night phase now too, since my girlfriend took a day off work and the sun is finally bringing an end to Winter! Those that know me from LotR can attest that I'm not exactly a weekend warrior. If my activity doesn't pick up by Monday though you are all free to lynch me for lurking!

Actually, he has racked up one late vote AND this night vote. He has posted pretty frequently but fairly cursorily -- lots of quick comments/humor but no analysis. The reasoning behind his vote choices are pretty simplistic and reactionary. He hasn't picked anyone controversial for whom to vote. Publicly noted that he had not received a PM yet just before gameplay started.

Lots of these are classic mafiosi dodges to seem involved without being threatening or contentious -- the classic lurking without lurking.

Donney went to Mcdoogals and ordered a pint. He was wearing green for the holiday.Then Brendan came into the bar and said hello. Seamus looked at him with suspicion... but Brendan just smiled back. What is your name Brendan asked. Donney said they call me Seamus Fermanagh and why is it any busness of yours? Brendan said I am looking to recruit loyal irishmen, can I count on your support? And Seamus said no... I have nothing to do with terrorists. Just then Mairead shot Donney in the arm.

"Agggh, what'd you do that for, ya daughter of a whore loving drunk?"

Donney decided to leave Mcdoogals right then and there, and make sure he got patched up. Brendan just looked around sadly, and decided to leave his card anyway, but now it said Two Blind Mice.

A gentleman carrying a gun, with two pointers playing round him, was passing up the hill that taka was descending, and while the eyes of taka were fixed on him with an evident wonder and a secret admiration which equally sprung from his appearance, the pointers bounded over and began sniffing at his boots. Oswald apologized for this intrusion by relating its cause, in a manner so frank and so graceful that his person, which was uncommonly handsome, received additional charms from his voice and expression. Had he been even old, ugly, and vulgar, the gratitude and kindness of taka would have been secured by any act of attention; but the influence of youth, beauty, and elegance, gave an interest to the action which came home to his feelings.

Occupied with these, and other, less mentionable thoughts, taka stooped to scratch the cat behind his ears, not noticing Oswald leisurely taking aim. The bullet hit him square in the chest, smashing his pink little heart to pieces and squashing forever the hopes and dreams contained within.
