That was me, me, Aries and Glyphz had it on Ed, but somehow I screwed it all up by switching my vote to Glphyz, therefore giving them the win. I can't even remember why I done it, but it was a great game.

That's ok. Someday I will actually be responsible for a victory, instead of a near-victory, for the town. I think it's wildly amusing that in every game that I've played as town, no matter how hard I try, either myself or someone else bungles it. I think it was only Fillet Royale where I didn't mess up THAT bad, but then again I didn't really play after I died.

Can anyone name a game that town won where I was actually useful?

I see I was useful to town because I eliminated the final threat to the town in Resident Evil... but I was neutral, so that doesn't count. I personally bungled the Family Guy mafia after an otherwise good performance, so that doesn't count. I got Tevash in Godfather, but after that I was useless and if people listened to me post round 6, town would have lost. I don't even want to think about Ephesus, Chicago, and Whispers, though I nailed glyphz in the last one.

So, in spite of everything I've tried, I've failed to be a good townie in 100% of my games. Awesome.

I played 53 games in total, and I was either lynched or used in most of it.

I managed to become the one to deliver the fatal blow to the townie in about three games, when I was actually townie...

We will hold meetings down at Pizzaguy's corner, to discuss just how lame we are at being townies, and plot to destroy the mafia together using uber uber oober umlaut uber super secret townie strategies which everyone can read, except the mafia, unless they promise to never use the knowledge of our strategies against us, unless they really really want to, don't hurt me mister mafia murderer man with the beating and the stabbing and the piano wire and the brass knuckles and the sleeping with the fishes and the cement shoes and the ow ow ow it hurts me.

As the founding member of the Failed Townie Association (commission committee thingy), I hereby invite Beefy to join in the commiseration, as well as all failed townies who wish to anonymously sob uncontrollably over their many, many defeats at the hands of the Big Meanies, the Mafia mafioso-so-si-soes.


edit: I opened up the first meeting of the Failed Townie Association. It should be "interesting" reading.... just go ahead and say "aye" to indicate you're present and ready for duty, and also, make up a ridiculous fake title for yourself.

ATPG is useful in every game, its a hosts delight when someone keeps the players on there toes and keeps there thread active.

That was perhaps my most useful game (out of the ones town won) and I still totally missed the final two mafia, and if people had listened to me we would have lost.

The ones town lost, I have a couple of games where I named all the mafia and made a really dumb final decision not to go with my first choice. (Lunar Whale and Family Guy) so even in those I kinda stink. LOL

As a townie, you were one out of 24, and thus expected to contribute 1/24 of the winning effort.
