TBH if they only just managed to legalise alcohol the chances of them legalising the others seems very slim... mostly those against alcohol are against all the recreational drugs, though caffiene usually gets a free ride... personally i see it as worse than marijuana...
I think most people see different drugs in an order of evilness... unfortunately alot of people are under the impression that
A) alcohol isn't that harmful and the illegal drugs are
Or
B) Alcohol is harmful and all the illegal drugs are worse...
I shall celebrate tonight with a smoke... what better way to celebrate the legalisation of alcohol!

Isn't that odd though? Texas has massive problems of crime, poverty and gang culture associated with the criminalisation of the narcotic market. Can't see the wood for the trees I think.

That goes for the entire country, and yes legalization/taxation would be a very good idea. However, people need to realize that prohabation does not work, and that cannabis does not equal crack cocaine.
