Duh, because the Greeks are smarter than the other factions and know that there are assassins wandering around the countryside.

in light of the history of the Greeks, I see no evidence that they are any smarter than Roman

apart from that proper armament underlines statements quite well :D

to throw down the gauntlet is much less impressive without a gaunlet

until I see an actual knight's gauntlet, I'm not buying it
