Since someone PMed me about the tournament I thought it would be best if I replied here since I think many are wondering when will the tournament start.

As I understand those participants go from left to right? That would mean that Alphonse will have Simon de Montpierre (Itulrade) on the other side of that table?

Also, could someone post that econ's table with players stregths to somewhere? I know that it's here in OOC thread but it would be pain to search it every time I want to know my opponents strength.

Also, what happens if two members from the red team attack a blue team member or vice-versa?

Yes, it is from left to right, so Alphonse would indeed have Simon de Montpierre on the other side of the table.

Econ's table should really go in the library, but I'll add it to the tournament thread for convenience.

If two people gang up on another, we first of all that lone person would have to be the only valid target. (You fight in priority knights that are not fighting anyone) Then, when combat is resolved. There would be a 1 vs 1 fight and then another 1 vs 1 fight. So the lone knight basically has to face two fights that round. If he gets knocked out, both combatants who attacked him will get a half a capture.

It might be an idea for the second deadline for tournament orders to also be 48 hours. Sunday is a sleepy day, so extending it to Monday might be an idea. Once we hit weekdays, 24 hours should be ample.

At the moment I've given more or less 72h for the first turn so that it ends Sunday evening EST and then I was thinking to go with 24h/round during the week, but I could certainly split it like that. Thing is, Saturday evening I won't be able to actually post any results for the first round, it will have to wait for Sunday evening anyways.

Initiative will determine who gets there first, the second player will stop one square short. Its up to the teams to coordinate their movements.

The discussion in the tournament brainstorm thread has made me realize that none of the people who sent me their orders have given me their stance if combat arises. (High/Medium/Low)

If combat occurs and I don't have a stance from the player, I'll have to pick one randomly.

You never know, moving 6 hexes in a straight line can get you pretty far.

Weapon choice is permanent for this tournament and yes its an addon to the dueling rules just for the tournament. You can change the type of stance/strike every round.

The tournament will have no effect on your fight value.
