On a technical level, the draft can start as soon as an official 1081 save game has been created with the avatars spawned. If we want the draft to go faster, someone will have to take and post mugshots of all the starting avatars. Otherwise people will have to load up the game to see who they want, which will restrict some people from being able to pick if their turn comes up while they can access the web, but can't load the game (i.e. from a work computer).

I'll take care of posting the mugshots and all that. Actually, I'm going to get the draft thread ready right now.

Reinvent the British and you get a global finance center, edible food and better service. Reinvent the French and you may just get more Germans.

If you're talking about the LotR draft, the mugshots of all the avatars that were chosen were removed as they were selected to avoid confusion. Thus the only ones left in there are the ones that were never picked.

Very possible, although I do need to try to get that age mod working first (starting on it now) before we can get through turn one.

I would really like an installation thread posted.

This is the same as the last two games.

If just one person doesn't follow the process and get a good install we will shaft ourselves.

We need a guide and a control point to ensure a good clean start on everyone's computer.

There will be an installation thread and faq.

I think everything can be put on the installer (including age mod if used) so that part will be easy at least.

I think it will likely be:
    MTW2
    Kingdoms
    1.5 patch for Kingdoms
    LTC Gold
    KOTF mod

Kingdoms already patches MTW2 to 1.2 if you don't have it so that won't be needed as an extra step between the two.

Small thing that's driving me a little nuts.

    Can we choose between:

    KOTF

    or

    KotF

    That would be great.

Did someone just fart in here?

Its been pretty quiet for awhile.

Tristan, Flax, can you give me some instruction on how to write with a French accent.

You're going to love my character but I really have to get good at this.

I know pretty much every letter 'h' can be dropped plus something to do with the word "the" is also required.

    Anything else?

Mais écrit en français alors! C'est plus facile

Just write in French! That's easier

For a good French accent, you just have to pronounce everything with a guttural 'r'.

I wonder how long we can go before one noble accuses another of being a 'cheese-eating surrender monkey'? Or using the word 'J'accuse'? Or making any reference to Monty Python and the Holy Grail?

It will take as long as it takes me to get to my third post in the Council session.

    I was wondering about that
Why did the chicken cross the road?

So that its subjects will view it with admiration, as a chicken which has the daring and courage to boldly cross the road,
but also with fear, for whom among them has the strength to contend with such a paragon of avian virtue? In such a manner is the princely
    chicken's dominion maintained. ~Machiavelli
