Unfortunately, MTW has problems with some newer video hardware, nVidia graphics cards especially, and CA/Activision/Sega have pretty much punted on MTW support. You may want to try the "button fix" suggested in this thread, it has helped others get the campaign map running.

As an aside, maybe we (the .Org) ought to get the two replacement .bif files into a separate downloadable hosted here, for simplicity sake.
