Bertin attempted to scout out the Imperial army in the Ardennes. He has not been heard from since and is feared to have been killed along with his bodyguard.

OOC: I wanted Bertin to fight a battle but I wouldn't have time to do so for a while. OK's sot prevented me from using his army so I struck out with my bodyguard with the plan to kill a few Germans and then retreat. Unfortunately, the German mounted Seargents caught up with my bodyguard while I attempted to retreat and killed Bertin.
