I beg to differ. A million dollars is a great deal of money. If a situation or material object that is desired by a person to attain happiness cannot be attainted for one million dollars, the fault lies with the person, not the amount of money.

I agree. I don't remember the dollar amount where more money doesn't correlate with more happiness, but I'm pretty sure the interest you could get from a million dollars is greater than that. And you'd either have a bunch more from your job or wouldn't be working...

1 million dollars in the US, some parts of Europe and the poorer countries is a lot of money.
The same amount however is peanuts in places like the big cities in the UK, where stuff is ridiculously expensive and a million dollars is barely 600k GBP
