actually, I've only been grounded a couple times in 14 years of life, but I know that lots of people aren't as well behaved or persuasive as I.

I know, strange concept at that age but give it a go and see what happens, if she's not interested move on, you don't want to end up the guy that follows her around drooling, it won't help with your next victim/target/conquest either.

to further complicate things, she got into an extended and loud screaming match with one of the other girls on the team (one of the ones I was thinking about asking out). So sh'es gonna be in trouble now. but maybe I can use this to my advantage by talking to her on tuesday about it? making her think she's right(because she wasn't, BTW)? or should I make her jealous and tell the other girl she's right?

One of those times when either of them start whinging and the only thing you say is "Yes." and nod your head. Don't weigh in. Making her jealous now might not be the best idea. But, at least it lets you know a bit more about her, i.e. that she is a bit temperamental (?) or so it would seem since she got into an argument and grounded with in the last few weeks alone.

didn't get a chance to; she left 10 minutes before everyone else. I probably should've gone with her and tried to calm her down, but not sure how that would have gone.

Don't play any games, you don't have the necessary skills yet. Women come with thse pre-loaded, men learn them. It's really simple, next time you see here you say:

Are you still grounded?

If she says yes you say:

So maybe I could have your number and call you some time?

She says No = GAME OVER, she says yes, you get the number and call her in a couple of weeks.

If she's not grounded, ask if she'd like to go out some time, say later in the week.

Really, talking to women is easy, I nearly asked the girl in the Jewelers out today (needed a new watch), I didn't because I'm leaving the city next week and I don't know if/when I'll be back.

It's simple, you want to ask here out, you goofed up a bit the first time, so have another go. If she doesn't give you a straight answer this time she doesn't want to.

No! There's no reason to get trapped in the middle of a fight like that, especially if it's as bad as you described.

When someone vents to you, it's usually best to let them come to you. If you try to push them to talk about their feelings it can sometimes backfire on you.

I agree with Phillipvs in regards to the girl. Just ask her out again, and if she says no, forget about her.

well, not only would that be over-corny, but I don't think she really would want a poem like that from a 14 year old. that just seems creepy....

oh and I'm banned from TWC til december, and have no intentions of going back. and the season would be over by then...

You'll have enough opportunities to talk to her. Don't 'force' her to talk, just be casual. If she says no a second time you ask her out then it's not going to happen. But maybe you can get a friend out of it instead.

-Build a "Time Machine" in my "Secret Volcano Lair"
-Use it to go back in time and steal Austin Power's Mojo
-Drink and become the sexiest and most attractive man alive!
-Have a child with an employee in said "Volcano Lair"
-Shun him and create a mini-clone of myself
-Repeat as needed
