This is mainly for people who have read the first 'Girl Help' thread, so here goes.

So, I asked the out the one I already knew, but then she said that she was grounded, but she didn't say yes or no, or when she was gonna be un-grounded. I made the stupid mistake of not asking for her phone number.

So should I ask her again next week or a week after or something? Or did saying 'I'm grounded' mean 'No, but I wanna be nice'?

See her next time and ask around what time is good for her to do something (insert activity that you plan there) so you can make sure you arent busy.

edit: most important thing is not to rush things. Let her think, unless its going to be bad thoughts. But if she likes you, problem is solvered already.

That is called selfconcious humour you Americans are masters at it. Ok listen up it works like this. No, she's (probably) not going to say yes, now she controls you. So you must try to date the other two, to let her know that you might be interested, but there are other options, and she is in fact not in control you are a master of your own situation, confident, and actually have other options. That turns them all green.

The whole point is to keep her on her toes. If her story about being grounded is false, this is essentially what she is doing to you. She wants to know how far you will go to be with her, this will tell her how much control she can exert. At this point, the answer to that should be "Not much". There is a time for her to walk all over you, and that time is after marriage.

The biggest irony is if you're not a nerd and have to go out with different types of people if you wanna have fun but with whom intelectual debates are somewhat... lacking. Occasionally, there's a glimpse of interest, usually after they see a movie, but if my answer takes more than a couple of seconds it's quickly gone.
