    Default I have a problem

An incredibly painful problem, im young, I eat well, I exercise between five and seven times a week so I should be healthy right?

Anyway I've had a problem when sleeping the last few nights, it's really uncomfortable and the pain is quite agonising, plus the poor sleep is making me feel like rubbish..

Anyway I'm not sure if it's a circulation problem or something but whenever I go to sleep I'll wake up after about two hours with both my hands and lower arms feeling numb, not just numb but painfully numb. last night it was like two 20 stone people were sat on each hand, I actually screamed out in agony a few times, they're still hurting now, any idea what this is? If I dont get a good night sleep soon im going to be very grumpy..

You should go to doctor if it's "painfully" numb. I get numb when sitting on floor with my legs crossed but I know that's because I've gained weight in the past 6 months.

Could be poor circulation, anxiety, lack of B vitamins, heart problems, neurological dysfunction, Carpel Tunnel.

    See a doctor, asap.

Could be circulation, could be a pinched nerve, seek professional help.

You live in the UK. Your healthcare is always paid for! GO TO THE DOC for chrissakes!
Do you hate Drug Cartels? Do You believe that the Drug War is basically a failure? Do you think that if we Legalized the Cannabis market, that use rates would drop, we could put age limits on cannabis, tax it, and other wise regulate it? Join The ORG Marijuana Policy Project!

In American politics, similar to British politics, we have a choice between being shot in our left testicle or the right testicle. Both parties advocate pissing on the little guys, only in different ways and to a different little guy.

Obviously you don't know about our waiting time.

Also I plan on booking a doctors appointment but I can't do that till Monday, no one is around on a weekend.

If it gets worse I don't know what I'm going to do though, I mean, they're still numb right now, but I can't exactly turn up at a hospital saying my hands are numb..

Yes you can, that is where most of your nerves 'end', in the top of your fingertips, if your circulation is screwed up you will feel it there first. You might have a blood-clot that can happen no matter your age/lifestyle.

definetly see a doctor go to the hospital whatever, it may not be anything serious or it could be very dangerous, always best to check it out.

Maybe try to sleep differently you may be like sleeping on your arms and they could fall asleep ive known that to be realtively painful (though it is usually when i am on the crapper)

This does sound like it could have something quite serious behind it.

I would check it out at the hospital ASAP, considering there's a chance it is heart related.

No matter the cause, if you have chronic agonizing pain, seek immediate help. You're body is trying to tell you something. Better safe than sorry.

Well it depends what kinda person you are. I'm not the type that takes cold medicine every season or take over the counter stuff in general. Once I went to emergency cus of a headache I never felt before and I was on some drugs. Wasn't serious as I was only severly dehydrated but could have been. I used to be a lot active but my water drinking hadn't changed so I thought dehydration would be the last problem I'd have. Worst thing that can happen to you is they ignore you or leave you to a rookie, young and good-looking nurse to attend in case you spaz or something.
