    The only thing about the Character Card is that its telling you where you are on the map.

    No point knowing where you are if there is no legend on the map to tell you a place you should explore, just wait for it, the excitement and suspense only makes the waiting more worth it

    ANNOUNCEMENT:

    I have added a feature to the game. If you see someone in your awareness radius, and you wish to chase them down (like if they aren't in your zone of control...) then tell me when you move, instead of moving to a certain coordinate, tell me to "CHASE THEM DOWN" and of course fill in the blanks and tell me which person. You can only chase one person down at a time.









    IF YOU INTEND TO SEND IN ORDERS RIGHT AWAY----- REMEMBER:

    1. Which coordinate are you moving to? If you're chasing down a certain player, tell me "Chase down person at coordinate Letter-Number"

    2. What mode are you in?

    (Berserker, Assassinate, Vigilante, Stealth Vigilante, Defensive, Stealth, Search quickly, or Cooperate)

    3. Run from a fight, and if so, when?

    A) Run away immediately
    B) Fight until one of you dies
    C) Run away when you reach certain health or ____ this happens
    Don't send in orders without this information!


    Also suggested:

    1. If you have multiple weapons (you don't, yet) which one do you use? Do you switch to a different weapon, and if so, when?

    2. Any particular strategy for your fight, if any? Aim for a specific part of your target? You can be creative.

    Actually.... I haven't been able to start the phase yet since I hadn't given out all the character cards or even opened up the game thread.

    I'll give you a time limit on the first phase as soon as MY work is done... LOL

    Just thought of a question...

    With things/items etc... Are there limited amounts or do they respawn.... As it say for instant you found a um... Pharmacy... A good place for health items you think..... You search and find some....

    Now is there any point for another player to come along and search the same place for items, or will the player who gets there first clear it out of items? Or do they respawn?

    I suggest that they respawn if you havent already decided... Otherwise it would just turn into a race to key points lol.

    Ah, yes... clever, but I designed the game to avoid that. Every location in the game is set to give a RANDOM item or weapon. You might find a rare item or special item there once, but if you search again it will 99% likely give you something different.

    So no, you can't sit on a herb and spawn 20 of them for all your friends. Game would be broken if so.

    The same square? Not really.

    Randomization takes care of "he who grabs it first, wins" problems.

    Anyone can go anywhere and have a chance at finding items and weapons. Some super secret stuff is in actual locations, but other than that, nope.

    That being said, some locations on the grid are set to spawn rare weapons first, for those of you who didn't invest in luck. And of course, those places aren't absolutely everywhere. Part of the rare-ness of rare weapons.

    You can win the game without rare weapons, too. Quite easily.

    More questions for my F.A.Q section-



    About COOPERATION MODE:

    Question: I want to Search Thourghly (or other command) AND be in cooperation mode. Can I do that?

    Answer: Nope... but you can do this: Search thoroughly, and anyone who lands next to you, you can talk to. And then you can say to them in private "lets do coop mode" and then next turn you both go to the same square or adjacent square and do cooperation mode. And then you're officially allies and will never, ever automatically target them with your weapons, even if you were in Berserk mode or Assassination mode. You'd have to tell me you want to betray and kill them. Otherwise, you're friends.

    This works assuming whoever lands next to you isn't hostile to you...


    About SEARCHING WHILE MOVING:

    Question: I realize that a thorough search would take my movement phase up. But I was wondering, could I quickly search the square around me for anything I can use as a melee weapon and then move?

    Answer: You can't search and then move in one turn. I realize I could safely add that to the game, but it's already very complicated and I will add that to the next one.

    Some labels on those structures would be nice, just for reference. (eh just realized the map here is different from the PM one - it has a legend)

    Entrances to the buildings?

    In this game, you simply land on the building in question and tell me you wish to enter it. Consider every single square an entrance. You may or may not be able to get in.


    Also, I will send the new map with legend and labels into your character cards starting from Phase 2 onwards. Thanks much for the labels!!!

    There was a hiccup with the Map. The Police station's location was NOT properly labeled. It is N9-O10, Not N10-O11.


    As such I have edited the images, and made it so that the new images are linked to where the old ones used to be. This may take a few minutes for photobucket to update. It presently displays the old image, for me. But it will update.

    OMG THERE IS MONSTER IN THE CENTER OF THE CITY, RUN RUN! Let's all meet up in the Tank yard, and build our own little army. Mount those tanks and steamroll through the city and the barricade. That way everybody leaves the city!
