    I understand what you're saying, but if you already have GIMP there's really no reason to use paint to crop instead of GIMP. It's not like it takes more effort to crop in GIMP than it does in paint. But really, who cares, everyone should just use whichever program they prefer. It doesn't really matter.

    Yes of course, but GIMP takes ages to load on my comp, probably that's not the case with others.

    Well then, that is a very valid reason not to use GIMP, I don't blame you at all haha

    I have Photoshop Cs2 and Paint.net, fun stuff. Paint.net is free though :P

    Well photoshop was too..

    PHAIL. I believe Paint.net to be a proper editor for vector images (IIRC).
