Thanks XS. Save game is at http://ul.to/i2twpb , I hope it has been uploaded properly. The rebels causing the problem are both stacks in Spain and both in North Africa. Had no problems other than this. The 1.2 version is definitely shown and I loaded all the 1.2 fixes at first install.

As far as moving characters go do I just go for the nearest similair name on the slave list?
