It's much more mundane: I'm suing Alienware Corp (based in Miami) for losing and not replacing my son's $3,000 laptop, in Dade County Small Claims Court. Hoping to save plane fare, I need someone there to appear in court at the hearing, on my behalf with a Power of Attorney - hoping Alienware doesn't even show up, and I get a Judgment against them. Be my paid agent, in effect.

Well, I have associates in Florida with Spectrum Investigations who mediate in court like I do, but they charge quite a lot per hour and it probably would not be worth it to pay someone to go represent you for a 3k claim, unless you have the defendant pick up the tab.As usual, you guys are side-bustingly hilarious ("Mail-enhancement...
