    Default Anonymous surfing

Learned our government takes a lot of liberty when it comes to trying to get to know what I said where why and when. I use this computer for e-mail and internet and making a document here and there, but I don't like the idea that our completely perverted minister of phone-taps and cartoonist-bedlifting can watch my p0rn-collection whenever his dirty little mind feels like it. What is my best option to keep christian-fundies out of my bedroom.

Proxies are an obvious choice, but you ned something heavier than just a browser based proxy. I've got a program on my home desktop which should do the trick, so I'll send you the link when I get home (I'd do it now, but I've forgotten the name)

The onion router does a pretty good job as masking you.

if you use chrome or IE, try Ultrasurf.
but if you want a quick proxy that works really well in all cases, nothing serious, try unblockbess.com

Thanks but that won't run on mac. TOR seems to do something, just running it in the background does the trick? Will these fundies still be able to read my mail?

Tor probably isn't the best choice, because you can't run any scripts (if you want to be secure, that is). So you can't watch any videos or most porn. Also it's slow.
