    Default O Happy Day!

About two months ago, I was forced to reinstall the OS to my computer; I thought that I had lost everything. Turns out that Windows had actually preserved most of the data from the previous version, but when I searched through my games, I was startled to see no sign of my EB save files. Everything else was there, even the RTW saves. I was not a bit devastated at this - I thought that my Getai and Romani campaigns, both of which had progressed to 175 BC, were lost forever.

But after tinkering with some driver updates today in a general effort to get the computer functioning as normal, I discovered to my great amazement that all of the .sav files had somehow reappeared! What's more, there was no need to reinstall RTW or EB. All I had to do was relocate the Trivial Script and off I was, happily charging my Drapanai into the massed ranks of the Ptolemaioi.

Apologies if this thread serves no real purpose, but I'm just so happy to be able to play EB once more.

That's lovely mate, but it's the first story I've ever heard about lost files reappearing. If I were you, I'd look into acquiring the services of the local experts of the occult. Such happenings are dark omens, and surely signify the coming of something far more sinister.

Cool store, bro! I want some ham.
    No ham, pepsi.
They make deli slices of frozen pepsi now? Awesome!
You also need to purchase a small freezer for storage of your pepsi.
It runs on batteries. You'll need a few.
Uhh, I guess I won't have pepsi then. Do you have change for a twenty?

Got to settings, permission group, select Backroom and click "join group". Your request has to be approved by the Backroom staff, but that's usually a formality. Remember that, while discussion in the Backroom can get heated, the .Org rules for language and behaviour still apply.

    It's going very well, actually.

    The year is 175 BC:
