From what I can gather, the server went down shortly after successfully backing up, so no or very little data should be lost. From the length of the downage, I'm guessing that we're waiting for a set of hard drives so we can sort out the RAID problem once and for all. The definitive answer will have to wait for Sim's and GED's reports though.

I was just trying to log on for the first time in ages when it happened. I thought, "hmmm, what's going on on TW center these days?" Of course I couldn't remember my password, so I blew four out of five attempts. The fifth attempt, twcenter was lost in the ether.

But for the record, I was a member of totalwar.org before I was a member of twcenter, and I'm not using this as a substitute. :p

I was going to say it looks like they have managed to get the server back on its feet but the database looks as if it needs restoring/rebuilding.

I believe this has been down now for 5 days, it was down on Friday and all over the weekend, Monday and today (Tuesday) and in 20mins it will be Wednesday here in the UK.

I was so desperate to on Sunday to bump my failed date thread with news of successful date I had with a very nice girl who I'm meeting again this Saturday, I also need to update my weight lose thread but now I forgotten how much I weighed on Saturday morning! Also I have an idea for an alternative 'babes' thread which I think had a good chance of getting approval.
