    Default Larger Map?

I have been playing a bit of Rusichi Total war the last few days (M2TW mod), and the map seems huge in comparison to the EB map. Is this because you can make larger maps in modding M2TW or is it just my brain getting confused from all the landmass and comparatively little water?

I am getting excited thinking about huge maps in EB2, should be fun. Until I think that all my guys need to trudge across the maps in dodgy Rome movement distances....
    Completed Campaigns:
    Macedonia EB 0.81 / Saby'n EB 1.1
    Qart'Hadarst EB 1.2 / Hai EB 1.2
    Current Campiagns:
    Getai/Sauromatae/Baktria
donated by Brennus for attention to detail.

If I recall correctly, the team has announced the size of the map will increase with approximately 30%. The amount of provinces would (again IIRC) stay the same. So yes, the map itself is probably bigger.

The map itself would still take up the same (maximum) size, wouldn't it? It would simply mean a smaller scale size.

The map is around 1/3 bigger in absolute size than in EB, but covers the same area of the world (roughly). Sorry if that is what you meant I'm a little confused by you post.

So resolution-wise the picture is larger. But the coverage of the globe is roughly the same, yes?

    I'm pretty sure, yes.
